as a footi fan i am enjoying the tournament so far, although the results so far don't seem to reflect the calibre of the teams involved in the tournament.. a lot of criticism has been put down to the competition balls - very light blah blah... however germany has been practising with the ball for last few months so do they have an advantage? also, bearing in mind the altitude of the stadia matches are being played at, surely thinner air means the ball will fly differently to what teams are used to. i remember this arguement over how long should teams train going back years ago when they played in mexico, i think it was, and a time for acclimatising came to be the norm from then onwards. what do other footi fans think? x
