I went to a record store earlier today, and I found a used (therefore cheaper) copy of the Kill Bill vol. 1 soundtrack. I have been wanting to get it for a long time; I love the movie and I've always loved the music in in.
I must say after a couple minutes of browsing the songs on it, I am totally in love with it! The music is very good music. ^o^
In addition, there's alot of japanese bad a$$-ness on it (as well as in the movie), which makes me, a misfit-japanese heritage girl, feel special. ///

Perhaps THE BEST MOVIE SOUNDTRACK EVER!!
I'm so glad that you're so into this soundtrack too! I adore it, and bought it as soon as i saw the movie! You're absolutely right about the Japanese music... it rocks! I just think that Kill Bill is such a well-produced movie in all aspects including the soundtrack. The attention to detail and such is amazing!

a lot agree that the soundtrack is great. ;-)
the movie is nice, but am not too crazy about it. but i must say, quentin tarantino did a pretty awesome job at this. he's really known for directing this mode of movies.

I have seen the 2 kill bill movies and eventhough i dont own the movie soundtrack, i must say that the songs that i heard during the movie rocks. I clearly remember the whistling made by elle driver when she was about to try to kill uma thurman lol. Now that you mentioned it, im now going to search for that soundtrack online.
