I know this person at work and I really do not know what to say, This person will buy the biggest block of cheese in the grocery store and sit there and eat the whole thing in a day!! I don't think this is healthy for you is it? What can you or would you say to them? Or would you say anything? It happens almost every day except on Fridays and sometimes 5 days a week!!

I think it is that person's business how much cheese they eat & how many days they eat it. I know I wouldn't say a word to them about their habit!!! I would NOT appreciate anybody telling me how to eat or what to eat because it's NONE of their business!!!

Well what if it was a close friend of yours that had health problems? Would you say anything? I don't say anything to them but it does concern me being that it is a close friend.

If they were a REAL close friend, I might make a comment that I was concerned that they didn't care enough about themselves to take better care of themselves. However, when all is said & done, it is THEIR decision!!! You should only tell them how you feel, but they are the ONLY one that can make a change!!! We ALL make poor decisions without concern for our friends or loved ones. I feel it is THEIR choice as to what they eat or don't eat. I know I wouldn't want anybody bugging me about what I eat.

Wow! I could not eat this much of cheese my own self! I probably will be sick to my stomach before the day is over with. I wold be afraid to say anything to this person. I hope that they don't get mad when I give them my opinion on how much of cheese that they are eating. I can't eat a whole block of cheese like this myself in a day when I buy it. This is too much of cheese to be eating!

I am not saying a word to that person I mean every single day 7 days a week that is all they think about is cheese and I am sorry but I just feel like that is overdoing it and surely it can not be healthy for you. I agree with you 100%. Have a good day!!

I find that sad and not healthy it is like a heart attack waiting to happen and I Am not very sure of what can be said to her but mabe not cut off her cheese intake not totally but adding fruit to her snack. It is a delicate situation by the way because people tend to feel offended when others tell them how to eat or spend their money.

Yes it is because I rarely see them eat any fruit at all just like junk food all day long but I really don't want to say anything you are right they could get offeed or their feelings hurt and I just don't want to do that.

This person you know reminded me of my father trying to feed himself while my mother was away for six weeks when she travelled overseas. She left plenty of food for him but all he kept eating everyday three times a day was cheese sandwiches until he ended up at the doctor because he became unable to open his bowels! Eating all that cheese cannot be good not to mention fattening! I don’t know how close you are to this person and whether you should say anything; if it’s a close friend he or she may appreciate your concern but if it’s not the person may well tell you to butt out!

It does sound like too much of a good thing. The serving size for cheese that is recommended is about the size of one finger. Frankly, that's not enough for me either, but a whole "block", depending on weight/size might be unhealthy on a regular basis. If you found an article on nutrition that might help, you could leave it open on your desk; or if you were invited into a discussion about that topic, you could express an opinion. But I wouldn't just walk up to the person and say something....he might be offended.

I would never attempt to eat a whole block of cheese because I would pay for it the next day or two. I love cheese but I can only eat it once in a while.

That can't possibly be healthy... I like me some cheese, but wow! I have a coworker who eats quite a bit of food during his lunch, break, or whenever. But I've never seen him eat a whole huge brick of cheese. I think I'd say something if it was someone I was close enough to. Probably as a joke at first, but maybe more serious later if I was truly concerned for their health.

I just ask him why he eat it like that way. Maybe he/she have a big reason to do it. I don't do it. And daily.............NO!

I agree! Cheese is good but very fattening. An entire block of cheese is way too much to eat in one sitting. Even of it os reduced fat!

Cheese is a staple in my house. We all love it. We eat it alone or as a topping on a any food we love. My personal favorite is extra sharp cheese. The sharper the better. You can't go wrong a dish with cheese.
