America's got talent

I think that it was ridiculous that they let her through. It is supposed to be a talent competition and she has no talent. They only let her through because they thought she was funny and they felt bad for her. I am so disappointed that they let her through and then rejected that little girl who had AMAZING talent. That little girl who sang and danced. She was only like 10 years old and had a very strong voice, but they said her voice wasn't "fully matured"!!

hi there. we also have our version of this show in our country. a lot of older contestants join the show just to ace a spot of popularity. the thing here is, younger contestants would really outdo them no matter how talented they were. you wouldn't see a grandpa doing B-Boy, right? much as they try, they are being laughed at at times. in due fairness, majority would support them. i will support any old contestant. hats of to their talent, effort and confidence. the good thing is,even if they personally know that they will not really ace the jackpot, at least they get a share of limelight even at a retiring age. ;-)

Hi Justin, I didn't catch this programme as in UK but did watch Britains Got talent and on here recently was an 80 year old lady who had such a powerful voice and she got through to the semi finals which I thought was wonderful. Age shouldn't be a factor if there is real talent there but unfortunately they never seem to win but good on em for giving it a go. Huggles. Ellie :D
