Having camping in a safe vacant lot can also make a happy and enjoyable camping specially when your with your family and friends. You only bring the important things that needed for camping and also bring canned foods in case of emergency that rain has come and you are not able to make fire.

What area of the country do you live in? It all depends on that and what kind of camping you like to do. What is your definition of camping? Tent? RV? Lean-to? Do you like to cook over a campfire or on a Sterno? I could recommend some places but only if they're areas where you plan to go. :)
