Tattoo or Piercing, is it a good idea?

I really dont like putting a tattoo or piercing on any parts of my body. To some, its an art. To some its something like an identity. And to some its fashion. But for me, I really dont think, it falls to on any of those things above. Though I respect people for having one. I find if attractive to some people but if its too much specially the tattoo i think its not beautiful anymore.

I have 11 tattoos and 19 piercings. I am a former body piercer and have always believed a tattoo should be something that is meaningful not spur of the moment. All my tats can be covered and you can't tell that I have the piercings that I do. To some people tattoos and piercings are a way to release stress and emotions they have hiden inside. And I am not a fan of getting names or twin tattoos with people whom are friends or lovers. To me, to many piercings is ugly and only for attention.
Tats and piercings is a world of it's own. And no, alot of people don't understand the world. It is art. Tribes have been doing them for centuries. Even Henna is a form of tattoo that stains your skin for up to 6 sometimes 8 weeks, then goes away for you to put on a new design.
I'm glad you respect people who have them as they respect you in return.

Wow really? Thats a lot!
I really do respect them and i think they have their own reasons why having such one. I see people with tattoo or piercing really cool.

hi screwdriver. no tattoos for me as I think they are gross but I
will respect other mylotters right to like them and wear them.
But I like jewelery and perfume, but not desecrate the skin the
good Lord gave me with a tattoo. I hate the idea of piercing any
part 
of the body,specially the tongue the navel and unseen private

i have 7 ear riings so i choose on pearcings, tatoos are kinds hard to hide. .. if they are made on ur arms or legs, u can get troubles looking for a job and those things.

I have my ears pierced - twice on one side. But that's as far as I will go when it comes to piercing. I don't have any tattoos, and don't ever care to have any. Personally I don't think body piercings and tattoos are attractive at all - but that's just me.

yes, too many tattoos is also not a good place. There is only damage the beauty of the body. I just put a tattoo, it was only in my right arm
