How will you feel if your discussion is branded as racist?

There are times when what we want to say is interpreted in a manner different from our real intent or from the meaning which we want to convey.
What if some members will interpret your discussion in the negative to the point that they would think that the discussion you started is a form of racism which violates the rule here in Mylot? or what if they will tell you that you have violated the rules and will be reported to the Admin?
How will you feel about it? How will you react on it?

A very interesting topic especially when I think about my very first discussion in myLot. It was considered extremely racist. Go to my profile and check it out. LOL!
I agree with you that it's hard to convey feelings through writing alone. That's why I like to use LOL or other methods to make sure that the person reading it won't get the wrong idea. You just have to be so careful when you write to people and post messages and discussions.

hi dorisday if my discussion was branded as racist I would reread
it and try and see if maybe just maybe they were right. Sometimes
we try to tell ourselves and others that no we are not racists.
but we then go on to perpetrate some old saws that all negroes love watermelon and are musically inclined, or play basketball or we'
fall into the stereotypesof other races. That really is racist,its demeaning someone you do not even know. If they say I have violated
a rule I will check and see if Indeed I have. How will I feel on it?
that depends if I am a racist or not. How will I react? I will check
and see if I did do the dirty, if not I will just relax and let it go
Fighting on here just causes more and more fighting til a whole bunch'
get involved. mylot admins may then come in and delete the whole thing.
As for reporting me so go ahead if I did wrong mylot will tell me about it if I did not so what.

Admin can always check if what you posted is racist or not. If they think its racist then they will just delete it. Just don't do it over and over again or else I'm pretty sure you'll be banned. And explain to those who think that you are discriminating that you are not. And just say sorry if they feel they were offended. I think they will understand.
