First I would like to give a little info what 3D Secure is. It is a new service started by Credit/Debit Card companies like MasterCard, Visa etc in which user is required to give an additional password for secure online transactions or purchases. This code is known to user and his bank only and it is entered using a platform which directly communicates with bank and if the password is correct then the bank allows the funds to be transferred otherwise the transaction is declined.
Now coming to my problem, I have got a new debit card having a logo of MasterCard. But it is only working on ATMs and not online. When I called my bank they don't have some good answer to my query. They sometimes tell that the bank will only allow funds to be transferred when a request is generated using 3D Secure terminal or website and sometimes tells me that the system is down.
I just want to check if my card will only work with 3D Secure Service enabled website or if the banks system is really down. I got info from MasterCard's website that they have branded 3D Secure Service as 'MasterCard SecureCode' for their promotions. But the real problem is that I cannot find any website which have this service. MasterCards Website states that the website should have 'MasterCard SecureCode' logo if the site is 3D Secure enabled. But I was not able to find even a single site having this facility.
If you can give me some info about any site which is having MasterCard SecureCode logo then it would be very helpful. More specifically I am looking to purchase a domain name and if you know some site where we can purchase new domain name and the site also have MasterCard SecureCode logo then it will be just great!
Looking forward for your help
