What is the pay for images?

I have submitted three images so far. After I submitted the first two, I got nothing. When I submitted the third one, I got 2 cents. What is your experience? If the pay for an image is not certain, I doubt they are worth the time and bother.

Thanks for your comment. Sounds like imagaes may not be for money. Of course it it is the right image, it may cause others to comment on your post.

Well, I have no fudging Idea.. :) BUT, I know that if you tag it, and add alot of words, and describe it good, they pay good :)

The image that you post should be connected to your discussion. Otherwise they will not pay.

Thank you for posting a response. It does pay something. Most likely a penny, but possible more for some pictures. I cannot say for sure.
