Leaving "Mylot"

I have no computer at home for the next few days and I can only behere from work so I am only just seeing this now Letran can you not be both here abd offline too, dividing yourself up, doing a bit of everything that you enjoy rather than doing only myLot? Surely you can be here less without leaving completely? MyLot should not rule our life and as bj said, it should be a prison. It is the only social site that I am a member of but uit does not come before offline things. If I am free I am here, if I have other things going on then I am elsewhere. A break maybe? Don't leave us completely I know that many of the older Lotters that you remmeber are no longer here but in just the same way, many that I know are no longer posting either - but new ones have joined and there are many that are worth getting to know better. I hope you will be able to reach a happy balance my friend

i don't know you as a person, my friend but i seem to like you here because of your flexibilities in every topic being posted by any one. i understand your predicaments somehow. this is a very sensible hobby. i only went back here after few months of dealing with so many things. and now, i am also leaving for i can no longer make extra curricular activities at this moment. but definitely, i will visit here again when the time permits. i really hope to see u here too when i get back. even once a month or seldom is not that bad. good luck with your plans. take care. :)

Everything has to end someday right? That's how it is in this world, real or virtual. I do have an idea of being a "Prisoner of your own Hobby". Its just like addiction. You may not want to do it anymore but yet you cant. Great thing about hobbies is that you can change it, switch it up, and just go back to it again whenever you feel like it, if you ever feel like it. Im glad to read that you're happy being here. I can see it from a lot of your posts. However, if you're truly happy then why doubt your presence here in the first place? Why call yourself a "Prisoner" when no one is holding you back? Most of us would be sad to see you gone but we know that life goes on. People do move on to other things. We may not keep you here but at least we would let you know that you still have something to come back to here if in case you wanted to. You really should see the outside world more. Try to find a balance between real life and online life. Keep things in moderation as the saying goes. I have to say that I do think of myLot and the friends that I have made here. I think of their welfare, their troubles, their triumphs, and their current situation. All I can do is wonder since I dont have any other communication with most of them other than myLot. I have to make do with their discussion posts to read about how they were doing. Well, whatever you decide, wherever you're happy, this "dreamland" will always be here, along with the rest of us. hello Letran, It's so sad to think that you are planning to leave. i don't see mylot as dreamland. I like this site compared to other social sites. I found mylotters as real people,same like the ones i am dealing in my daily real life. But,if you feel like you are losing your true and real identity(life) then,what can we do. Hi LetranKnight! We may not have known each other personally. But I went to your profile several times because of the songs you had them on which made me feel relaxed. Thought that was a wonderful choice of songs that would make feel the way I had. And have enjoyed reading what you have written although I may not have responded that much. It's sad if you leave. Hope you would reconsider. But if you have really decided to I would have to respect your decision and hope you would come back.

no... i hope you change your mind and stay here.....it's sad to know that you want to leave but it is still you who will decide on this matter. but, for sure, i'll miss you. i actually feel that discussions are incomplete without you.

hi letran please do not leave, just take some breather, You have been doing a lot of mylotting and need to get out , maybe take some walks and enjoy the real world then come back to us too.I too get to feeling like I am my own prisoner so I got to some activity that they have here then come back and am refreshed. I must stay here as my earnings go to pay my internet bill. Hey look think of it this way,you take some time off and have fun, then later come back and you have the makings of some discussions from all the stuff you have done off the net. because I am retired and have oodles of time and tiny amounts of money I do think of all of you mylotter friends when I sign off. I would miss your great discussions and your great way of expressing yourself so dontreally leave us permanently just take a break for awhile

hi letranknight, i think it is impossible to us to leave mylot until a big obstacle will arise in our life and could not attend the net,till that time we will be with mylot utill our end or mylot end,take it for granted this is sure,we may say lot of words about leaving mylot,but we cannot that is true,have a nice day

I don't want you to leave. but not because i don't want to loose an active referral, and i mean to say super active but this has made you happy. remember when you were working, and you tend to be frustrated all the time, you're always sad. but you're happy when ever you talk about mylot. but if this is your decision, i will respect it.i know you're just depressed with what's going on around you but don't be afraid or loose hope. i think you should "try and try again" maybe it could give some uplifting. remember that guy who has no arms and legs, bring your determination back while there is time. (mwaah)

I sincerely hope you don’t leave. You may be right in saying that you need a break because we all do from time to time but what would stop you from coming back? I took a break ages ago and I was gone for a while because I was not inspired to be here anymore so I took some ‘leave’ but did not delete my account because a little ‘voice’ was telling me I would be back; I haven’t left again since. I think this place can be addictive and sometimes we need to remember that there is an offline world so a bit of balance between the two may be all you need.

Yo, man. You are right, every now and then one can feel is time for some changes. Yet, .. never say never. The real world is a mess, is wrong, unfair and harsh. you will need time to time a shelter. Prefferable warm and familiar one. Something you know about and then can feel comfortable without to much trouble. And that can be mylot, as well as any other virtual reality place you want. And yes, time to time, I hesitate to logout before leave a message to some people here ..

You just need a vacation my friend. You dont have to leave the things that you love. Me, I made up my mind that until this website closes I will never leave. Every now and then we need a breather from our hobbies because no matter how we love something a time will come that we will get bored and tired of it. When this time comes we just need to take a break. You have inspired a lot of mylotters in your own little way. Dont think of leaving, think of your friends and those whom you have touched and inspire

One should be able to manage their time wisely between the online sites and offline life to be specific mylot...coz they can be so addictive and keep on dragging you no matter what.so the best would be to enjoy this site in the weekends and when you're a bit low than to be here all the time.great day.

It's really sad to hear this, though I havn't met you before. It's a loss of myLot that any active member leaves. MyLot have more than 200,000 member, but only a few of them are active... Anyway, wish you a good leaving and a happy life in the future.

I myself have said that I am going to leave this site, and I did for maybe a week. This site is just too addicting. I do know what you mean though, I have had an addiction to a forum site before, and it caused me to always think of it, and often times try to get on the site from my phone. That was years ago though, and now I am happy with just mylot. Though I have thought of mylot before outside of the home, I don't think of it so much anymore, and think I only did when it was new and exciting to me. I hope you don't leave mylot completely, but take a short hiatus, maybe a week, maybe more. You might find you miss the site more then you think you would, or you might find you don't need the site as much as you thought you should!

i have thought about of leaving mylot once, when i lost the second job that i had before. i thought i can never get back to mylot when i have no internet connection in this office. and though the boss acquired a connection, internet is not always available for me. but because i love mylot, the people here, the friendship i have built with you, the friends who are always been supporting me with my son. so, i say, no one is leaving, right, ryan?

i ever try to leave this site..but still this is the only site that i love to visit. so maybe i will leave it and come back and leave it again but come back again..

Hi LK, for the past months i've been so tied up with lots of activities at work and with my crochet business. i also consider giving myself a break from mylot, but i always find time to drop by and respond even for some. whatever that will make you feel good go ahead but never leave us friend hehehehe. you will surely be missed!

leaving mylot? how come?i know you really loved this site that even if you have crushed your pc back then you still managed to be here.yeah,i know if you'll leave here,i do think that you'll still come back cause you have lots of fun here.i can say some people here just come and go without even letting others know.it's all our freedom and we have the right mind to choose whatever we want.well,if you really have to leave,i will be one of those people who'll miss you for a while.but i know you'll come back still.i know that,and i'm feelin' it! have a great life,my knight!
