Do you take side on people's cold war

I have seen this before, and now it is like a dejavu. People's cold war within our department. One person was promoted to be the team leader, another one just jealous. The one with jealousy always find an opportunity to attack her fault, incompetence. Gossip behind her back. Another one just can't wait to counter - attack his aggression. I don't want to take side, and the best way to do, get out of their way. Our supervisor should know about this issue. Honestly, there is no team work if such "war" continue on.

I stay out of these things, because things can change very quickly and then you might have taken the "wrong" side all of a sudden. And let's face it: in this case you have no interest of your own to look out for, so just stay out of it!
