Having heard the Chile game on the radio and watched Brazil, Uraguay, Argentina and Mexico, I think of these teams is going to win it. With the exception of Germany I have not really been impressed with the Europeans. I know you can never write of Italy, and Spain are a quality side but I just think that the South Americans are the ones playing the better football at this moment in time, especially Argentina.

Yes, South American teams are playing very well in this world cup on the African soil. Asian countries have also impressed in this world cup. European teams and especially Asian teams have fallen a bit flat in this tournament.
Cheers!

thekelz,
I think you have to be patient as the European had just concluded before the kickoff for the FIFA World Cup in South Africa.
You should give the European sides a little more time and chance - until after the second round matches. If you look at the South American teams with their players coming from the European campaign, I am sure you will find that they are adapting slowly into the tournament.
To be fair, the conditions in South Africa is pretty harsh, plus the fact that there's also the new Jabulani balls being introduced - the players are just having their hands full.
Overall, they are coping well and I believe the game will improve as the tournament progresses.
My final four for the tournament will be Brazil, Argentina, Germany and Spain and the picks here are in no meritorious order.

The American (North and South) like Argentina, Uruguay and Mexico have been the bright spot for the world cup so far. Their european counterpart have been faltering, except for the Germans. But like I say, it is still early days. Having said that, my pick for the World Cup, Argentina.
