Making New Friends

Whenever you are in a new town or on vacation, where do you go to try to make new friends? How successful have you been in making new friends when moving to a new place?

I have moved around a lot. I find I make friends through my new neighbors or through my kids. I also make friends at work and try to join local groups. At the last place I lived I joined a local movie group and we would meet at a movie theatre to watch movies. That was cool.
