Is it wrong for me to be upset,......I think not

Ugh, why me and I swear I'd never do anything like this to anyone else. But seriously I wish I would have returned the favor. I'm sitting here washing clothes and my clothes were in the midst of being cleaned and stuff, and I go to check my clothes. When I walk in there my clothes are still washing and I'm like weird and then they're washing again and again. Seriously, I'm like why are my clothes washing for a full hour? It does not take that long. So I decide to look in the dryer and yes I knew it I knew it I knew. Someone touched my clothes, picked them up wet and all and put them in the dryer. My clothes have been sitting in the dryer for a whole hour without even a notice. I don't know who touched it but I have an idea a neighbor touched and moved my clothes so that they could wash they're clothes. I knew I didn't put it in there myself. They moved my clothes and put they're clothes in my place were my clothes were sitting. They weren't even in there that long, cause I came back after 30 minutes which is the amount of time that it takes to wash in our washer. We have to share a washer and dryer with our neighbors because there is no washer and dryer connection in the units. Which I wish there was. But anyway I thought it was really rude for someone to move my clothes and I don't like people touching my clothes. I'm very adimit about that. DOn't touch my stuff. Especially my clothes. I don't know where they're hands been so I feel like rewashing them and stuff. Its wasting my money.
So I leave a note to whomever touched my clothes stating. "Please don't touch my clothes again. Very Rude Thanks alot." I myself can't believe I did that, but I did and I'm extremely upset. People are so impatient and rude.
I seriously wished I took their clothes out of the washer and threw them on the floor. That probably would have made me feel better. But that's not me. My husband said I should have done it. I wish I should and I would have done it if they took my clothes out of the dryer. I now know who it is and its a guy like ew. So I think I'll have to talk to the landlord and when I walked in it smells like cigarett and I don't even know if my clothes smell like cigaretts I hope not cause I hate that smell and I'm going to be extremely upset.
Sorry for the long discussion, but I needed to vent. Am I wrong to feel this way. Would you be upset if someone did this to you. Like one of your neighbors.

I agree with the note thingy a few of friends suggest here. Downright rude and a violation of privacy, in a sense. That's really personal.. and if I were you, I'd suppose I've done the same thing as well..

Yeah I try to handle things in a friendly way, but I don't know, it seemed as if the guy didn't care about the note cause he taped it to the window and was like whatever. My husband on the other hand took the note and put it on his dryer again Lol. But he was like I would have handled it a different way.

Mannnn..how ignorant can that person be; to ignore a note just like that...I think that's rather rude, really. But like what your husband has said, he would have handled it differently. Same for me..I think that note should be addressed at least..and to do something for the good of all..

Yeah I guess the traffic on the washing machine is heavy. But you really can't help it because once the washing machine is done cleaning your clothes the next person needs to use it. So, I suggest getting back to the washing machine a bit earlier and make sure to take out your clothes immediately after its done cleaning. I have many experiences getting my clothes dumped on the floor while using the hotel washing machine because I was watching TV a bit too long. Ofcourse, this is a different story if someone took it out while it was still in the middle of cleaning. Then I would be really mad and leave notes or go complain to the neighbors of yours.

Well the thing was my clothes were only holding up one washer. There's 2 others that were empty and he used up three. It wasn't even in there that long. So I don't know, I think he could have waited until I got back which like I'm literally across the street from the washing place and I was back like not even 5 mins. Now I'm beginning to wonder if he took them out while they were still washing. But he should have been patient or came back. Most of us girls don't like our clothes touched especially if its a guy whose touching our clothes and maybe he could have left a note or something saying I put your clothes in the dryer so I wouldn't have kept coming back.

I will be very upset too.It is not only rude to do that but also very insulting and lack of respect!
You are still kind just writing a note. Some would react badly like throwing bad words to whoever did it that may start a really bad squabble.
I salute you for having such a good grip over your temper.

Yeah, thanks. I don't know what went on, but the guy that did it, he just kept moving around the note he was like whatever. My husband felt like really giving him a piece of his mind and he was like if it was him, he would have thrown his clothes all over the floor. He's like next time he will and I'm just going to laugh.

No kidding! I would be upset too, but unlike you I would like slash the guy's clothes (childish, I know), and put them back into the washing machine, and come back to rewash my clothes later.
Really, people like that are so rude, they act as if they have more rights than you, and just go ahead and do what they want.
I hope you feel better after venting it out.

I just had to laugh at what you said. Slashing his clothes I never thought of that I would have thrown them all on the floor. But thanks I may think about doing that if it ever happens again. So true though, my husband said the same thing about him just being completely rude and all and has no respect for others. My husband felt like really going over next door and giving him a piece of his mind. I did feel a lot better after venting

Truely i do not think it is wrong to be upset. Sometimes when we are faced with certain situations that truly hurts us inside it is natural to become upset to release all those feelings inside that hurts or that feels like they are tearing us up inside So i think it is right to become upset.
