Hi folks,it is really interesting to know that Islam has unique beliefs about the life and second coming of Prophet Jesus(pbuh). The last Holy Book, the Quran, clearly says he was never killed but was taken above alive by God Almighty. He is still alive in heavens, waiting for the divine orders to come back to this earth again to clear all the doubts and taboos about him.He will land at Jamia Mosque Damascus,Syria in Muslims this time.Imam Mehdi, the Muslim leader, will invite him to lead the prayer but he will refuse by saying that he has not come as a Prophet but a follower this time. This is due to a prayer which he had made to God Almighty previously. So Imam Mehdi will lead the prayer. This all shows that Jesus(pbuh)is not coming with some new Book or Shariah but he will support Islam and the Holy Quran to base his FIRST IDEAL WORLD STATE on it.We Muslims will give all our loves and lives to Jesus(pbuh)as advised by our Holy Prophet Muhammad(pbuh)and we will be true and devoted followers/supporters of Jesus(pbuh)after his second coming. This thing should be realized by the Christians and they should have some softer corner for Islam and Muslims.
What are your views about it ??

I'm a Christian and I believe in the second coming of Jesus. He will come to redeem our souls. Don't worry, I'm not here to condemn the Islam beliefs. I believe in respecting other religions. Infact, the Grand Imam from Pakistan visited our church before. Have a good day. Cheers.

I'd die first before he ever comes back. second coming won't be around until the human race is old, probably another billion years

Thanks for your nice reply.Yes,you are right Jesus(pbuh)will unite all believers in one faith and will lead them in a war against the last Antichrist or Dajjal.Jesus will follow and kill him in Israel. The final Prophet Muhammad(pbuh)had said that all those people who will fight this war under Jesus(pbuh)will surely go to paradise.

Ok, but i read somewhere that Prophet Mohammed abused young boys. Thus he was a very infamous pedophile in his time. How true is this? Recent historical records have shown that Prophet Mohammed in fact abused children.

Certainly if you will spit on the sky it will come on your face.I do not know how can you people write such a false thing about a Prophet of God Almighty? You will never find any Muslim writing such thing about Prophets Moses,Jesus,Jacob,Abraham(all pbuh). We are required to respect and love them.Pl feel the difference yourself........

Well obviously you are being defensive. I was just posing a question about something which i have read. By the way, i am an atheist. Read it? A-T-H-E-I-S-T...therefore i do not believe in god, religion, whatever and i was just asking a valid question. Then you might as well answer it objectively or else it would just show your true character or the general character of you mulsims. That you muslims are nothing but idiotic, low IQ, stupid, child molesters.

Why do you believe this to be true, besides the fact that the Quran says it? I guess what I'm asking is why do you believe the Quran? What evidence do you have that what is said in the Quran is accurate?

Thanks for responding. In fact, the Holy Quran is the last Divine book, which is being protected divinely for centuries. You will find thousands of Muslims in all Muslim countries who have memorized it by heart in spite of the fact that Arabic may not be their mother language. This is a live miracle of Islam. You will never find a single person in this world who can claim this thing for any other holy book today.

It is true that the Quran has been around for a long time, but can't you say the same thing of the Holy Bible? You certainly must agree that the Christians have been persecuted throughout the years and they and their sacred writings continue. As far a your claim that thousands of Muslims have memorized the Quran, how can one prove or disprove it, particularly to anyone who does not read or speak Arabic? I must simply take your word for it. The Bible has it's own evidence of its authenticity and that is through fulfilled prophecy, through the fact that it has stood the test of time, through the changes it has made in the lives of those you accept it as the written Word of God.

6precious,
As far as evidence is concerned, that the Quran is 'credible' in its claim of authencity, it is largely evidence itself. Reason, because the original Arabic text as it was, is present in all credible copies of the Quran. ie the interpretaion of languages is next to the original text, and translated ALWAYS from this text. This is not true of the Bible, and indeed, books have been added later as well as editing and interpretations. This has diluted the authentic word written in the original Bible of Moses and Jesus. The same is not true for the Quran - it is a question of belief in the Quran - if you do not believe, then it is meaningless, but the credible writing can still be seen as original.
The Bible is older than the Quran, but we need the original manuscripts in their entirity to be truly and fully authentic. Modern Bibles are copies of copies, much like the tape to tape copying, where the picture would gradually deteriate unless you copy from the original master. The Bible has undergone much of that process, which explains why versions of the Bible not only differ in words and paragraphs, there are whole sects of Christians who practice differing versions of the Bible eg Jehovas Witness. But the general ease of which Christianity has been doctored is evident when King Henry VIII protested to the Church that he could not divorce. Hence, protestant Christianity was born.
As for the memorisation of the Quran, I think the 1000's remark is simply given for illustrative purposes, but it is suffice to say, that numerous Muslims in the world have committed the Quran with meaning to their heart.
