Do you think the Lakers can win the championships in 2011?

First and foremost I want to applaud the lakers. It wasn't the most ideal way to win but they did. That being said they did have a decent squad. If Andrew was actually healthy it may have been a quicker series although he was a major factor down the stretch. Obviously in the off season he'll need surgery. Phil Jackson is still up in the air about returning. So how do you think the next season will play out considering these factors?

Yes, they can defend the title once again. If the roster will be intact and Phil Jackson returns to the Lakers, they have a chance of making it 3-peat. They have a formidable and a strong lineup. However, we will see what the offseason trades and signing ups take into the picture. There are many big stars that are free agents and I guess if the team will land 2-3 of this superstars, that team is capable of making a run for the championship. Let's see.

I agree with you 100%. I think the offseason trades are huge. Depending on which players end up where it may give the lakers a huge match up nightmare. But even bigger than that will be Phil's decision. I know most people don't think he's as good as a coach as he seems because he's always had Gods on his teams. But I'm starting to believe that he is actually a decent coach and losing him would be a big detriment to the Lakers future championship runs. So I guess time will tell what the lakers chances are.

Yes, the Lakers are a very good team but they will be facing a team with 2 to 3 superstars on the helm. I think that they will be challenge with that scenario.
