Well... they have said it... and it happened to me too. check the guidelines. Check the links if you included links in your posts. I think referrals are not allowed in the discussions. Check the photos and images, specially if you got them from the net, it could be copyrighted. welcome to mylot. :)

So many of my discussions too have been deleted . It is mainly because of guideline violation . And the worst part of it is that your mylot reputation is reduced .

It may sound silly for me to be here as I've had mine deleted too. But I hope this is where we can all learn from. Check the guidelines again and again.

hello there, you might have been violating the guidelines my friend! i also got my started discussion post deleted just recently,it was my first time to be deleted and it feels sad really but i know when i started that discussion,i know i am violating such rules, but all i wanted is the opinions of others regarding the matter of my topic. i have got some responders but yeah,i know i violated so i know it will be deleted. just read on guidelines more so you'll know what you have to do.

You will have received an email from discussions@mylot.com with the subject "Notification from MyLot". If you cannot find it, look in your Spam folder. This email will explain why the post was deleted. In future, to ensure that your posts are not deleted, read, understand, memorize and follow the Guidelines.

I have had lots of post deleted, because I responded to discussions that were deleted because of violations of the rules. It does happen because users won't read the rules and guidelines, and they will post referral links in their discussion, which is a big violation. Also any discussion that asks the question how to earn here, also get deleted, because all the answers can be found in the guidelines. I do help others when I can, but I also wish they would do their pare their part and read before they post. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

Just curious rose. If you know a topic violates the guidelines then why do you participate in it?

Many of us participate in them. It is not all about money here I would help an old lady to cross a busy road regardless of whether it might mean I missed my bus. There will always be another one later.

That's okay. We all experience that from time to time especially when we forgot "MyLot rules and terms of use" in posting replies here. It is a policy of MyLot that if they detect your post as a violation to its policy or terms of use, they will delete it, and if the topic you have replied to is a violation to MyLot TOS, then all the responses/replies attached to it are also deleted including yours. What is the use of your reply/post hanging in the air if the topic you have replied is already been deleted? The next thing you need to do now is to review MyLot guidelines and terms of use, you can find the links going there at the bottom of this page. Then try to please avoid posting messages that are violation of the rules or guidelines here, and also try not to response to a suspected violation topic. If you do, once the topic is deleted, your response will also be deleted together with the topic you have responded to. We older ones here, we have so many experiences of that, that's why we are now wiser in choosing good topics to respond to. But who knows, this topic of yours will also be deleted soon because there are many other similar topic or title to this that existed long ago. That's also one of the reasons why topics and responses are also being deleted, to avoid duplicate discussions on the Internet.
