Hi blazekk yes indeed I am a bit disheartened to not see Ronaldinho in the Brazilian squad.A ball player like him could have been an asset to this Brazilian side that lacks ball players. Here I like to enumerate a few points that I have noticed..1)The Brazil of 2010 is not the same as other Brazilian sides in the past..2)In the forward line there is only Robinho who can weave past a few defenders in one go..3)Kaka's form is a cause of concern..4)Dunga is hell bent on winning the title and that's why he has decided to have a strong defence. However it must be admitted that the Ronaldinho of the present is not similar to the Ronaldinho of the past.Hence though I am disappointed yet I don't want to withdraw my support for Brazil instead I am willing to support a few other teams apart from Brazil..teams like Germany and Argentina.

I would have loved to see Ronaldinho if he was match fit and selected on merit. But if he was in the state he was 4 years ago, then I would rather not have him in the team. Having said it, Dunga's team would be more defense minded than offensive, hence flair players like Ronaldinho would be at a premium in such teams. Cheers! Ram

I would sarcastically say "Ronaldinho? Ronaldinho who?" I think it's not Dunga's fault for not bringing Ronaldinho. He had that not-so-nice time in Milan. His play was inconsistent all season; sometimes he played brilliantly, but in other times, awfully below-par. However, we see that in other team, similar things also happened, intentionally or not. France don't bring Samir Nasri, Italy don't come with Antonio Cassano, and Argentina without Cambiasso. Some other stars were injured, like Rio Ferdinand. However, I do believe that it could be a golden opportunity for the future stars to show their class. Hopefully we may see some new Ronaldinhos or Messis around. And, maybe that's the spirit of this World Cup.
