HELP!! Blackberry curve dropped in puddle :|

I dropped my curve 8900 into a puddle about half an hour ago.. It wasnt in the puddle for long, like 0.00001 seconds MAX! so i fished it out straightaway and wiped off the water.. When i got home it was making weird crackly noises and the LED thing was flashing.. so i took out the battery and put it back in but its still doing it.. HELPP! i dont wanna pay £260 for a new one and i cant tell my mum or dad cos they'll KILL me! urgent help neededddd! Thanks to any1 who helps :)

I dropped my Lg Env in the toilet a couple years back. I had to dry it off real well and stand it up to drain the water out. I dried it with a hair dryer and a towel. I let it stand up with the battery out of it for most of the day. It did start working again and continued to work for another year. I gave it to my friend and she still uses it. My sister dropped her phone in a glass of tea once and had to dry it with a hair dryer as well. Hers worked for a while but I think the sugar got to hers. I wish you luck on fixing your phone.
