I just started learning French from an online program, I learned some words and found it not much difficult at beginning but I am wondering that is it difficult language to learn?
I think its pronunciations are difficult, is anybody French here? Can tell me is it difficult to learn this language? Can it helm me in my career? I found there are lot of jobs for translation in that language.

i've studied French in my University for one semester. i think its an interesting language if you have the time to learn it. It is also one of the prefered language i believe. There will be certain rules that you might have to get use to in order to know how to phrase them correctly. As to me the rules are much more confusing than to learn the pronounciation. With much practice and good memory for new words, you should be able to maximize your vocabulary quickly in the language.

Hi Philip: Actually I have found that the rules of French Grammar are easier than the English ones ^^. Maybe that's because, the way we build our sentences in spanish is similar to the french grammar so we can make translations easier. Concerning, French pronunciation, I think people have some difficulties when they have to pronounce an "R" or an "E" in French but if you practice your languaje, you'll learn. Thanks for your answer. Have a nice day.

I don't have any idea if it is easy or not because I haven't tried learning french. For me, everything must be worked hard for. It only means that it will not be easy because it requires effort. Me too, i want to learn french..Im looking forward to it because it is one of our subject in our class next year.
It can help you to many things, it is used in many jobs.

I find the French such a beautiful language. I have heard it being spoken an it is really very powerful-sounding. I think there are some words that are almost similar to English. But generally, one has to really learn the correct way of saying words in French.

I'm french... The most difficult thing is the pronounciation and writting. In order to write well it's mandatory to know the phonems, because there aren't rules for the accents. However, the grammar structure is quite easy if you compare with other latin languages. It's much more difficult to learn portuguese, for example.

I'm teaching English to French people and in return some of my students would teach me how to speak their language. I found it too difficult especially I am only doing it online. It's a nice language but my tongue is not fit for it haha. I gave it up already. Well goodluck to you. I hope you won't give up like me.

I've always known how to speak french, as I learned it from my mom, and I don't think that it's such an easy language to learn. I enjoy talking in french and such, but it's just now, looking back, it's not really the easiest language to learn.

French is easier if you know another similar language. My niece is learning French and picked up a few words. She is by no means an A student so I'm sure it is not that tough.

I am actually only dreaming to learn in speaking French but then I really find difficult to pronounce some terms. I had this dictionary but then I did not use it very well since I did not give time to read and study it.

In my opinion,it is difficult that learn whatever all kinds of languages .Because we have first language, later to learn secend ,third ```language ,it has a harmonious phenomenon to master certain language entirely.
However ,It is also easy to learn others ,the reason why do your best to gain this language knowledge.
Above of all,you are confident to learn it ,so you will succeed.

French is one of the easiest language to learn. I myself have learned French. But I would advise you not to learn it through a online program because they do not teach you how to pronounce certain words.

My mother tongue is English however I have learn many other languages including French and believe me it is not very difficult too, you just need to practice a lot with others, the accent is something which you can gain afterwards but you should know the proper wordings for things around and take time to pronounce them, It took me only three months to learn this language though and today I can talk it fluently.

Hi keval: I have learnt french and I consider it easier than learning english but maybe that's because I speak spanish and French and Spanish have more things in common than Spanish and English. Even with that I think that if you feel enthusiastic of course you can learn French and you will enjoy your classes. I think that's the most important thing when you're learning something new. Thanks for asking us this question. Have a nice day. Good Luck

Learning any language needs lot of interest and zeal to learn under-any circumstances.
French seems to be an easy language and many have succeeded in that. Here we have even free classes for this language.
Learning under a tutor is more easy than learning online.Because you cannot follow the pronunciation of those words.

I learnt to speak French when I was 11 and I found it fairly easy to learn.
My pronunciation isn't really all it should be but at least I can get by with the knowledge of the French that I do have.
I find it a very useful language to know, it certainly will be a help with your career.
