Why their's no "Filipino" athlete in the NBA?

FIlipino's are great big fan of basketball. But nOt just a fan, but they are also a good basketball players, but why their's no "Filipino athlete" in the NBA? Are the filipino's to small for this league? Or they don't just qualify? Mbuhay Team PIlipinas!!!!!!

Their is one Filipino-American who have played in the NBA for the Golden State Warriors and Indiana Pacers from 1978-1982. His name is Raymond Townsend. He is the first Fil-Am and Asian American that have been drafted to the NBA.
