I want to know your memories from growing up in the 80's! Did you have a big wheel? Did you play Atari? Did you play with a slinki? Tell me your memories! I want to know how you passed the time back in the 80's! I can't wait to hear your responses!!!

If I recall right, the 80's was the beginning of the metallic rock. Uggh! And it was just about the time the video (Betamax - promoted by Sony) was making a craze. Imagine, we didn't have to go to the movies to watch James Bond. The 80's was also the decade of political change. The peaceful revolution was born in the Philippines, reached China at Tiannamen Square, flew to Russia for glasnost and perestroika, and even stopped by Germany and put down the Berlin wall.

I was born in the 80s. I remember having quite a few big wheel bikes. I loved them. I was really rough on them though and broke a few of them. For Christmas I just got my son a big wheel bike. Its called a big flyer by Radio Flyer. Its really nice. I used my reward points on homescan to get it so it didnt cost me anything. It says for ages 3-7 on the box but he is 4 and his legs are a little to short to reach the peddles. Hopefully when he gets his shoes or boots on they will make his legs that much longer that he will be able to ride it. Right now he is a little upset that he cant ride the bike :(

That is awesome! It is too bad that his legs are too short to ride it! But, he will be happy when he can get the chance to ride it! I loved my big wheel growing up! It is kind of funny how they are bringing back all the stuff we grew up on when we were little! I love it!

i remember the 80's so well. the music and movies. and everything. cindy lauper, madonna, menudo the boy group with ricky martin and many other singers and songs. i grew up wondering why some people like hardrock songs.
