Can anyone tel me why Firefox is always crashing on me? I have run virus scans, adware scans and spyware scans and it is still crashing on me. What causes firefox to continously crash and what can I do to stop it from crashing on me? Your responses and tips would be greatly appreciated.

based from my experience, my firefox usually crashes when there are so many plug-ins and toolbars installed in it. Plug-ins and toolbars can make your firefox browser slow, resulting to some problems like crash. I suggest you remove unnecessary toolbars and plug-ins that you are not using. another suggestion, always update your browser for faster surfing. :))

well this may due to the add-ons .. first uninstall and disable all the add-ons . and then try to run fire-fox . or best you can do is run the firefox in safe mode which makes it run without the add-ons which may automatically solve the problems. if you need any more help then you can try the mozilla help page at .. http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Firefox+crashes good luck.. happy mylotting

I rarely have this problem; I have this problem more with IE than anything. Firefox only crashes on me when I have too many tabs open or too many other programs running in the background- taking up cpu usage.

There are many possibilities. The best to do is to send technical details to the support at Mozilla to identify the cause of your crashes. Follow the procedure described here : http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Firefox%20crashes
