Popular blog? How can I make one?

I recently set up a blog style kind of thing. I started up a program where I will pay people for arguing, and since this site is very new, nobody is here. How can I start up a community here, and is a blog the best kind of way that I could set up a argument program, or should I use a different type of site. The best option right now is to make it free because I do not have that much money. When I generate enough ad revenue, I might make a domain. Thank you for comments. A blog is more like a newspaper column than a forum. So, as the columnist (i.e., blogger), it's your responsibility to be writing and posting. Besides, the realistic thing to expect from your readers is just their opinions (i.e., whether they agree or not) with a posted argument. Other than that, your expectations are off.
