Good day mylotters I just recently attended a daily Free health symposium held in ortigas pasig philippines. I learned many thing about our health when I was there and I realize what they said is true.
People in our past generation where there is no Advance Medicine Technology and Hospital the people life span is so high like they can live for over a 100 years if you notice in our generation today there are still old people that already 90+ in age right? and they live in time where no great technology in medicine and drugs to maintain their good health
Unlike today those who born in this generation people's life span are rapidly decrease like when a person hit the age of 50+ its their time and lots of people get sick easily and died because of illnesses.
And if you notice diabetic, cancer, highblood, stroke, and other disease found only in the age of 50+ in the past generation, but now this deceases can be found in our child and other young people who only at 10-20 years old have you notice that?
Base on their study the main reason of this is our FOOD and the life style we have now, every day people eat in fastfood, we eat lots of synthetic food and take synthetic drugs this is one of the main reason why our life span today is rapidly decreasing. Even if you ate vegetable you are still not sure to gain 100% of its nutrients because when the vegetable cooked almost 90% of its nutrients lose.
That is the reason why most of the restaurant and other vegetarian are eating raw veggies or half cook or steamed.
If you are interest to attend the said health symposium you can massage me only if your from philippines and from metro manila it is free I am going there 3x a week you can come if you want. it sponsor by one of the riches person in philippines who got healed by vegetable and natural food.

Yes, I think it is plainly because of the increasing evil/darkness in the world. In the early times, people would even reach up to 900 years old, now, we can even hardly reach 100 years old. Evil, would include sin, bad habits, bad environment etc..

well...let's not forget there was less pollution before. The air we breath nowadays is crap in the city. In the ancient time, they used horses or cows to move around but now, everyone uses the car. Just look at China. They used to ride bicycles only but now, each person has a car. The amount of pollution is increasing and the same goes to other countries. Aside the pollution, you are right about technology. Animals are injected with chemicals to make it grow faster. Chicken that grow up naturally or live in nature are skinny. Nothing is natural anymore indeed. I also think that high technology makes people sick faster. Electricity already provides us alot of things we need and water is accessable. In the time of my grandmother, she had to walk to the river to get fresh water. But now, we don't need to walk or lift anything. So people are making less exercise. You just press a button or turn on a switch and everything you need will appear.

Hello Xeroeight,
I totally agree with you. I feel scared that a human lifespan is now getting shorter and shorter. I envy those people in our ancient times and those in the bible who lived almost 200 years of their lives! Imagine that.
I guess it was because of what we take in. Too much processed food and drinks we have today. Too much toxins and preservatives. It's also about the lifestyle we have, the vices and the pressures of the daily lives that make our lives shorter.
Cheers,
Honey

Its the modern life style which is full of stress. The food we eat is not healthy as we opt for fast foods. We do not relax and this causes stress and B.P leading to many ailments. Our modern life is so fast paced that we barely take out time to have exercise in our daily schedule which could be a contributing factor to these life style illnesses.

There is really big difference from our past and the present. A lot of factors affect the life span. Food is probably the major factor why life span is really decreasing nowadays. Aside from that, it's because of our environment. A lot of pollution, and also the lifestyle that people have now. Advanced technology has pros and cons, but it can also probably affect one's health and decrease life span. Like if you're always in front of the computer without exercise improper diet, that will really make us unhealthy.

Our life span is NOT rapidly decreasing.
I don't know where you got that kind of information from, but the average human lifespan has never been over 100 years. Rather, it's been steadily going upwards around the world, the only place that's had it lower is in some areas of Africa, because of the onset of AIDS. Everywhere else in the world, the average age someone could live to around 1900 was about 45 years old, and nowadays, it's 80. With this average, the number of people living past 100 has been ever increasing, also.
With the illnesses you mentioned, there are many more deaths due to those issues nowadays, because the term "natural causes" has been taken out of possible ways you could die. Also, because of the medical technology of today, and recommendations from doctors towards people who have higher chances of these problems, their percentages have gone DOWN! People are living longer, and healthier lives now, then they ever have in the past. I don't know where on earth you're getting that false information.

Living life to the hilt is what the younger generation believes in whereas the older generation chooses to have longevity which can only be achieved by living a restricted life. We all have choices and this is how the younger and older generations choose to live.

its just because we are eating healthy food and we dont exercise ......its just because of our lifestyle...so we need to change our lifestyle we have to avoid junkfood...my grandpa lived for 96 years ....he used to live in a small village in india...he was a former so a lot of exercise daily and his diet was amazing he used to eat 5 times a a day and all times vegetables are compulsory....so we also need to do something like that..
happy mylotting

hello mylotters...
I totally agree with you. The past generation was hard work in our life. The technology are developed. So people are making less exercise. It's a reason for that. Have a nice day...
Thanks

Simple, its our lifestyle and the quality of food we eat.
