money or joy working????

Hi there, thogojames. Nearly posted a similar question myself! My answer would be, I have no idea what to choose. Throughout my career I always opted for or was more mindful about the salary. But now, I started to think perhaps I would feel more content with my life and happier if I could get a job that I enjoy. I guess, I am just not a corporate person. Recently, I was given an opportunity to make it into reality but the pay was about half of what I had earned in previous jobs, plus the fact that it would require me to relocate further out- so it's a bit extreme. My biggest worry is would I be happy living with smaller means or what if the income would not be sufficient to support my life?!
