I found out I'm in need of a gallbladder removal. As my gallbladder has no stones, but is just spasms it not an emergency. Still each day is painful. The hospital gave me a number to a surgeon, whose nurse told me I would need money upfront and pay for the surgery in full before the operation. I have gone to a site call donategroup.com to try to raise money. I don't have insurance. I was wonder if anyone had any other suggestions? I am being careful with foods, but it is very hard to be picky when we don't have much money.
