I'm planning to buy a digapac waterproof case for my DSLR. Do you think it's worth it? Any thoughts? Thanks in advance. :)

I have one for my small digital camera (Canon A530) and it works great for use in, under and around water. They seem to work very well and the lens is very clear and very little distortion. I would be reluctant to use my DSLR under water in one of the bag type cases. For what you pay for a DSLR Case you could buy a used smaller camera and case. This way if something does happen you don't lose your DSLR.

Rain - Close-up of rain
Depends on where you take pictures :-) If you want to take pictures in rain and snow I think it's very good idea. I've been thinking about getting something waterproof for my camera myself, I've seen some stuff made for bird photographers. Not a case, more like rain jacket. I like taking pictures of rain so I think it would probably be a good idea to have something waterproof.

well i think its only worth it if your gonna use if often. I usually just put it in a clear water tight pack and the pics are still ok.

Well, unless you are doing underwater stuff, I do not think so. Most prosumer DSLRs are already weather sealed and water sealed. So, what is the use?
