Tomorrow is Father's Day? Do you celebrate it in your family?
Well, I'm happy to say that my family never miss to celebrate
any occasions like Father's day. The celebration doesn't need
to be extravagant but just enough for us to show the celebrant
how we value his/her special day.
Like tomorrow, my family will just cook some nice foods
that we'll share together and we'll have videoke session again
since we all love singing. I'm really looking forward for tomorrow
coz our family will be complete again.
How about you? How do you celebrate Father's day?

I live in Florida, but my dad lives in Georgia, so I took a road-trip up to Georgia to see him. My sister also took a road-trip home to see him, and we spent the entire weekend with him. A couple of my aunts and cousins had planned a cookout over at my dad's house for Saturday night. Everyone cooked stuff and brought it over, and my dad fired up his grill and cooked some chicken. We had a really good time.
Then, on Sunday, we went to church, and my brother-in-law's mom invited us over to her house to eat lunch after church. We had a really nice time over there, but we didn't stay long, because we had some things we needed to do that afternoon. After we got our errands done, we went back to church that night, then went back to my dad's house to eat food that was left over from the Saturday night cookout.
We had a really nice weekend together, and my dad really enjoyed having us home for Father's Day...

Although it is Father's Day, today has been pretty much like every other Sunday. Church for me, visiting with the neighbors and talking with distant family on the phone for my husband. After a quick lunch, the TV was berated by my husband because he couldn't find anything he wanted to watch, while I read a book. His spirits were lifted by a phone call from each of our children wishing him a happy Father's Day, though. Just a normal day!

I am staying with my in-laws now and they are not so in to celebrating father's day. My father who is in my hometown is a sensitive person, we celebrate father's day in my hometown in a way that we give gifts to my dad, my brother in law and to my brother. We eat delicious dinner. I hope I can be there. This is the second father's day I am not with my dad.

My first thought is sadness as my father is no longer with me!!
But we have just a nice family day - 4 of our 5 kids live away from us now but they send card and little gifts and my 14 year old will buy his dad a little something - nothing expensive.
My four daughter's will all phone up to wish their dad 'Happy Father's Day' - and in this modern age will no doubt wish it him on Facebook as well!!

Hi, in my family we always celebrate father's day it is worth celebrating for coz your father is the head of the family and without your father you will not be in this world. And it is in the bible that honor your parents (which is your father and mother). In our family every father's day first we usually go to the church with our parents, and after that my mother will cook food and we dine in together like pancit and adobo that is the favorite of my father and we watch tv together. But now i am married and i am here now in US and my family is in the Philippines i really miss them but that is ok i can still be with them and celebrate fathers day. I usually talk to them through the use of skype using mic and cam but at least with that i can see my family.. I send my father a card telling him that i love him and i miss him, i am my father's girl i miss them a lot i am hoping we can visit them this year hope we have money for plane ticket so that we can fly to the Phils..So everyone do not miss this oppurtunity that yuo can spend time and celebrate with your father during father's day. Not all people have the luxury to be with their family especially in this occasion. GODBLESS you all :)

first and foremost, i will greet my father and also my grand father a happy father's day and to all the father here in my lot. i will make him feel that he is very important to us and we are proud to him because being a father is a very hard responsibility that a father has. we will go out for a dinner and relax to a peaceful place.
