Father's Day is here again. I don't know where mine is, or if he is still breathing. I don't know if he is happy. I wish he is. We haven't heard from him for five years now. We just don't talk about it.
I can't help missing him though. We weren't very close when we had the chance. I wish we were.
Wherever you are Papa, I love you and I miss you. I hope things are going well for you.
You guys out there with fathers to greet, do so. I envy you.

I am sorry to hear. I hope you could one day meet your dad once again. I know it is a sad and hurtful fact that you did not meet or become close with your dad. I cherish my dad a lot. So, I can not imagine losing him.

i just can't hide my feelings everytime i am greeting my father. we had some issues and disagreements long ago. but i never let these things come in between us. most of all, i knew i am the son and i have to listen to him whatever it takes. my wish is for you that this year, may you be together with your father again. me and my father are not in good terms and i dont greet him on this occasion. i am already a father for 4 years now and my wife and son always makes something that is funny or exciting. i am not sure what are they up to for this year but whatever it is i know that it is fun. i am doing everything for my child for him to know that i love him and for him to see that i am a good parent... a good father. .... its easy to be a father but it takes a strong one to be the true meaning of being a father.

I really felt sad for you Mynestegg...because of the sadness that you feel on this Father's day today. I did realize that many people here in mylot don't have good relationship with their father. Many reasons were given and I can't blame others why they feel that way. It's really hard when you feel hurt by the father that you love the most.
They say time can heal all wounds and I really hope so for everybody who is hurting today...for those who remember their father with fondness and missing them so much. i wish one day they will return in to your life and make you whole once more.
