New and clueless

Well, I am new here - thought I would stop by and see what this all about, and so far I am absolutely clueless. Tried to comment on a discussion and the comment disappeared. Not sure how this whole thing works so any tips or advice would be really, really welcome.

If you are reading this comment then you have figured out the options of discussions I have started and you know the ones you replied to are right next to that which is the BIGGEST part of the site. If you comment on a discussion and the screen goes blank just use your browser's BACK button and you will still be credited for your comment and the comment will still be displayed. Also, the tags are optional.. hope this helps :)

Thanks - took me a little while to figure out how to add comments. I think I've got that part down....now to find some interesting topics to test my new found skills.
