As a first child would you prefer a girl or a boy?

Before I had children I wished for a baby daughter first and then a baby boy as my second child. If I had only been able to have one child I would have wished to have a baby daughter. I wouldn't have been sad not to have any sons. I found out my first baby's gender at his birth. During my second pregnancy I had a gender scan and found out I was having a boy. Then for my third baby I finally got a baby daughter. My second son is severely disabled and will not ever be able to walk. I know that it is wonderful to have a healthy baby. I love having my special needs little boy but some ladies would not want to have a disabled baby.

Personally, it really doesn't matter whether it's a boy or a girl. I'll be happy with either one. So long as it's a healthy baby, I'm going to be a happy mom. A healthy baby is really all that I can ask for.

well girl for me because i dont have any experience on having a girl kid at home because were all boys and all.

ya grkelly i agree with u i also want girl as my first child. i dont know what is the reason as i love both boy and girl child equally.but as for as my choice is concerned my wish is that my first child should be girl because i think that i will be more attached with girl child as compared to boy child. but its also true i love children

I think I would prefer a girl as the first child. Older brothers are too protective to their younger sisters. And I dont like my younger daughter to feel like she has a leash. But on the other hand, I want a boy as a child. I dont know why I love boys, maybe because as people say, women usually like sons and fathers like daughters. I am still confused because of the two reasons.

Personally, I would want a girl for my first child because I am also the first child and first girl and I think I turned out pretty okay. lol. I would also like dolling up my kid and dressing her up with pretty dresses so having a baby girl as my first kid would be a fabulous fit. lol. I just hope that my future husband would agree with me on this one because based from our previous conversations about this, he prefers to have a boy for our first kid.

I had always wanted my first born child to be a boy. My wish was granted. My oldest child is a boy. Boys are the ones to always carry the family's last name. in a way, boys carry on the family legacy. All children are a blessing to us!
