I used to say 3 kids will be great. But after having experienced the troublesome experiences and pains of pregnancy, doctors, and actually parenting my first child I think I will stick to 2 kids probably. Dont get me wrong... having a child is an awesome and a wonderful experience. It is a gift and a lovely thing that I cannot imagine not having experienced because even though there are several downs and sacrfices there are many many ups and fulfilling experiences.

I totally agree with you. my husband and I wanted to have 3 kids at first, but after experiencing all the challenges with regards to financial, and parenting. We made it lower. My husband wants to have one now and I want to have at least 2 with a little age distant like 3years gap. It hard to take care a child and give up a part of your own life and dreams. But then again, I agree that my child is the most important matter/person for me. And he did change my life completely which i'm hugging for him

i am just 19 yet and i want to get married at the age of around 25 or so when i am well settled in life. I want to have one kid a daughter if i can. I want her to be the most beautiful daughter on earth and i will treat her like a prince everyday. I want her to be "daddy's little angel" forever in my life and i will do my best everyday to make her happy. Right now my relative got marries and she has 2 kids who stay at my place. They are naughty, sweet, loving, funny, and too intelligent also. SO i know the joys of having kids and i hope i will take responsibility when the time comes.

child birth it may be very painful, but u for get soon as you've had the baby. i've only got on child at the moment he's just gone 8, and i'm still in no hurry to have any more kids. my son has a speech problem, and that does make things harder. i'm waiting for the right guy to come along before i have any more kids.

I'd really want to have three kids. I find it fun and I feel that my children will not feel lonely by the time they grow up because they have each other to be there.
However, watching my parents raised us, I see how hard it is to manage your time especially our finances. I don't know how things would be by the time I need to send them to college. Tuition fees are way too expensive these days and I fear that we won't be able to make ends meet when that time comes.
So probably we'll stick to two kids for now. I'm still hopeful to get a very good source of income in the future that will make us capable of raising three kids but if that would be too much then I'll just stick to what we can do for now. After all, what matters in the end is we have a very strong, healthy and happy family.

Coz that was my situation too before, my parents only likes to have me, but people said to them i might get lonely so i had a little brother... So, I only have 1 sibling...
Have a nice day!

hi grkelly
I haven`t any child even married yet. but i had a plan to have 2 kids. it will be grateful if i can see them playing together. now a days people are very busy with their works and i saw that people who live in big city can`t handle their child. I saw that their child were cared by a nanny. I think this problem were common to people who works in big enterprise.

I would love to have 3 kids as well. Two girls and one boy to be exact but after seeing documentaries about childbirth, I am a little bit terrified which is why I think I will probably change my mind about the three kids after I experience giving birth. lol. Having kids is truly a blessing from God so whatever happens I know I will cherish the experience of having a family.

Well I always wanted to have 4 kids. I think a lot was to do with it just being me and my brother when I grew up, but I thought that 4 kid would be nice and make for a nice big family. I had my first child at 20 and my second last year at the age of 28. Big age difference I know... But I am happy with my two boys and do not feel the need to have anymore. I think 2 is quite enough. It would have been nice maybe to try for a girl as well, but I do not mind about the fact that I havnt got a girl. I enjoy my 2 boys, and spending time with them both, and doing things together, and I love being a mum as well. But I do need some time to myself sometimes. I feel like I have reached the point that I have my kids, and now I need to do something for me, as I like you have sacrificed a lot to be a mother. My only problem is that sometimes I wish that I had both my kids closer, so they would be nearer the same age, and enjoy more things together. But then sometimes I feel happy that I have such an age between them, because I get time with both of them, and the older one does like to help with my little one.

As they say, giving birth is the essence of being a woman. I only have one right now, and it is really fulfilling even if the experience was really terrible. But I think I can tolerate the pain if I'll get pregnant again. If I will consider the econimic crisis, I would like to have two kids only preferably one boy and one girl. But when I think of becoming old, I would love to have many kids around 12 maybe, so that when we're old already, many of our kids if not all, can come and visit us always. I think that would be a happy home for us then. The more the merrier.

In my country, the government don't allow to born more than one child of one couple.Although about this, many people have more than one children. They must paid for the other children to the government. The fees in our country for children is huge. But i like to have more than one child,at least two children.

I grow up in a family let say a big family. We are 7 in our family of course that includes my parents, i have 4 siblings 2 brothers and 2 sisters and i am the 2 child of my parents. And now since i am married i want to have a big family but base on my experience and observations it is not easy to have a big faily coz first you have to consider the cost of living every child needs clothing, foods, medicine and there you know basic needs and wants. And you have to consider that within 9 months the baby is inside in your womb it needs are and as soon you give birth oh my gush the hospital bills...and later for their education it is not easy. That is why we decide to have just 2 kids it will be easier for that to give their wnats and needs and we can give them a quality time and i learn something it is not the quantity it is the quality that counts...
