There's Something More for Cinderella

If Cinderella's glass slippers perfectly fit, then why did one fall off along the way? Well, I guess it speaks about an important lesson, not everything that perfectly fits will fit forever. Yes, it's true; a simple point to ponder. Nothing in this small world seems to last and the mere fact that nothing is forever is a level that a lot of people are on. It's like your favorite shirt that you keep on wearing regardless of it's minute size and staggering holes under the pits. Well, as they say, it's all in the trips of your mind. But still, Cinderella's perfect slippers would not cease to end enticing the minds of the curious as to why can a perfect fit slip in just a sleight of father time's hands. :)

that is very interesting observation there danchris hmm...maybe it slipped because her nylon stockings made it too smooth on her feet? but yeah, not much seems to last in today's world. everything can fade with neglect, even memories. alternately the more we maintain what we like, the longer it may be around..

That's an intersting way of looking at things danchris. Just think if Cinderellas slipper had never fallen off then the story would have never unfolded! As you can see I don't think too deep or seriously about something that was meant to entertain us. There is far too much seriousness in the world, and me thinking too deeply about things would not help my migranes.lol

hi danchris I just took Cinderellas as a fun childrens story to read and never thought to use it for anything else. that way any discrepancies from the real world to the pretend world do not bother me in the least. I wax philosophically about only the real things in the real world. I read your statement nothing in this world seem to last and felt sad. So many people now days do not bother marrying,in fact the relationships are not meant to last as people now want perfection in both parties and in my 84 years I have yet to see the perfect man or woman really . we all have some flaw and so what. If we love each other for who we are its called unconditional love, accepting each other as not perfect but still loved just the way they are. Things that we really value and have real worth do last,. I fell in love with my husband to b e and we had 33 years of a great marriage, no not perfect but great.

when i was young i would ask my aunt, who was my baby sitter, how come cinderella's glass slipper fell. and i would be told to just keep listening or watching so as to see the magic of the story. still, how can a perfect fit fall? probably the slipper is too heavy, though it fit perfecty, because it's made out of glass. haha. lame answer. hihihi. oh, this is murder and punishment to the feet. glass slippers? c'mon, who can dance in glass slippers.

It fit perfectly but it was a slipper!!! So many times when you walk fast, if your wearing slippers they tend to slip off your feet. Has happened to me a couple of times. About your so called lesson, once you've reached the stage where your feet don't grow anymore, how will your slip per/shoe not fit you then???. But I agree nothing lasts forever!
