having grown up in the country side during my young times, i still prefer the peaceful and slow pace of the country lifestyle.. though i have to admit that the city offers more entertainment and it is easier to obtain goods and facilities that we need. it is the nature environment and simple lifestyle that im choosing my preference to live in the country side..

Hey pinoy! I am definitely more of a "country girl" than a city
girl! I don't like the fast life of the city and I live in NY!
I live about 45 minutes outside of NYC and haven't been there
in years. I live in a rural suburan area outside another city
in NYS! I even would prefer living further upstate NY where there
really is countrylife! I love nature and water and I don't have
that much where I live, but it is a cross between city and
country here so I don't mind too much!

How ironic. I really dreamed of living in New York City. I wanna live in a fast paced society. Dunno why.

I like where I am. Could be a bit more country, but it's just the right amount of noise and entertainment to keep you from being lonely. Not enough to keep you left alone. I lived in a city once took to much money to have any fun. To crowded, I like having some elbow room.

I have lived in both a village and a big city. I like the facilities of a city - theatres, cinemas, shops, hospitals, etc. but I don't like the noise, pollution, heavy traffic and increased crime. I think the countryside is a good place to bring up children in a safe environment, but once they became teenagers, they will get bored and need to travel to pubs, clubs, etc.

If it could choose where to live, I would remain with a not very big city, with sea and beach, the beautiful coastal one and many green spaces, because already I am accustomed to the life in a great city and that I would not like to live in the way of the field.

if i had a chance i will live in both the places.because there are so much restrictions in country side and we will not have permission to use so much resources.but in city we are what we are.we can enjoy ourselves in city.there are restrictions also.but comparing to country side they will be better in city

Right now I prefer to have city life because I have to work. Living in the city is much more convenient. If one day I am retired and don't have to worry about money, I like to live in the country because the life will be relaxing there. It is good for me at that time. The air will be fresher in the countryside.
I love China

I have tried both things. I grew up in a city and now I live in a village in the countryside. We moved here a year and a half ago, and it was a big change for me. I was used to a place where there were lots of different shops, pubs, restaurants, schools etc. Malls and things like that were within walking distance when I lived in the city, and I now have to drive to another place if I want to to go shopping, eat out or go to library.
There are also positive things about the place where I live now: it is close to the beach, my village is more peaceful than the city and there is less pollution here.

I'll take the country life anyday-I can't handle the hustle and bustle of city life

I'm living now in the city and I couldn't do something about it. Honestly I hate to live in the city so obviously I prefer to live in the country area. A country area wherein there's a big farm, not noisy and pollution free. The urban life make me sick; full of polluted air and also polluted with too much noise. You have to be a fast-paced person when you live in the city, while in the country you just relax and well you're stress-free. I wish I can resettle in the country and that's what I'm aiming for.

I prefer the City Life because there are better condition in the City then to the Country and because City has more to offer than the Country. You can't have a good internet connection to Country and there's a lot more physical work to do then in the City and you can't find places like swimming pools, gyms and others to the Country.

I have lived in both. I lived on a farm in the country and I have lived in Chicago. I like different aspects of both so I really cannot choose either one. I would just choose rather to be happy and make the best of wherever I am at the time!

Definitely the city life is the best for me! I was born in a city, grew up with it and I plan on dying in the city. Urban life is simply the best. Lots of people everywhere you look, busy streets so alive with busy people. Country life just seems a little too quiet for me, I can vacation on mountains, valleys and beaches from time to time when I need some peace and quiet. But most of the time what I really need is the city noise. Urban life is definitely where it's at. Good topic! ++!

I'd choose country side every time but it would have to include pc and fast internet. Since the internet i don't really hang around the block a lot so i don't really feel the need to make friends. So country life with less people would be lovely for me. And to spend time there with my girlfriend in a comfortable house, grow some food, take care of animals. Instead of fast stress full life style in city where you're just another student one of the thousands waking up early and walking around in this bad air and pollution.

I prefer city life. Because city is full of chances which may lead you to success. While country just has a wonderful environment, you can't achieve any very successful things there. I think city is the product of the development of society, of course there are many competitions in city, but we should adapt to it, regarding it as the barriers to the road of success. This is my opinion.
