notifications in mylot ala facebook

hi there MyLotters. I love mylot a lot. i really appreciate this site because it is a huge source of ideas and information. thank you to us, 200,000+ members. well, i was wondering what if MyLot would adapt the featuren in Facebook where one is sent a notification on posts. for instance, i made this new discussion and you responded to it. would it be nice to receive a notification if i commented back on your post? it would in a way promote a lot of new discussions plus thread of discussions. there are times that i lose track of a discussion that i like becasue over the days, only recent posts are the ones we can see on initial pages of the category. and i know that it would be quite a process for mylot to have that as a feature of this site.

i am sure you are not alone in this. and i too also long been looking for this feature. just like you mentioned, you lose track of a discussion because you were not notified when someone commented after your comment. only the member who originated the response will be notified. if you did not response to that discussion, you will never be notified, unless someone commented on your response, or another commented following the comments, and so on.
