Why people would choose Vegas to get married?

Hmm, I had been to Las Vegas a couple years ago, and I saw many attractions there. No doubt, it is a great place for tourist, and many things to see. But a place to get married, why is it that spot? I saw many movies about people get drunk and married, simply they have a moment of fun. A friend of mine would married next month, and they would choose Vegas for a week, and they will be married there. I just don't see casinos and romantic honeymoon mixed up there.

The reason I would choose to get married in Vegas is because it's my second marriage as well as my fiance's and we don't want to do the whole big wedding scene again once was enough. We both like Vegas, and it's a fun place to go and a great way to spend a honeymoon if you can't afford to go somewhere like a cruise or overseas or something like that. And there is plenty of awesome and amazing things to do in Vegas that you don't have to spend a ton of money or gamble.
