How do I find the topic I want to start a new discussion?

I have no excuse for not knowing the answer, maybe I'm an idiot.
In this instance, I would like to find discussions for grandmothers. I tried going through "my interests," but that takes forever!
Surely there's an easier way, and I only need a compassionate member to take pity on me.

anawar you can always post your discussion on grandmothers in life or people as they are both suitable for that topic and we all hit those often every day . grandmothers are family and family goes well under life so no problem. Those are always up above us here so they are easy to find.

I really need smart people like you in my life. I make things so complicated for myself. I guess I lack common sense, 'cause I'm incredibly brilliant. At least that's what my dad told me when I suddenly forgot how to latch my seat belt. I'll always love him for that.

I use the general discussion button quite a bit because, as you said, scanning through my interests to try and find the one I want is a nightmare. If you scroll all the way down to the bottom of your interests page, there are two orange buttons. The one on the left is to edit your interests and the one on the right is to start a general discussion. I also am working on editing my interests so that there won't be so many to go through. I have suggested to mylot that they alphabetize them, which would make them easier to go through. We shall see if they take my suggestion.

Pity on you? No. All you need to do is go to "interests" and think what part of the grandmother persona are you looking for. You may not find "grandmother" persay but a lot different subjects pertaining to them. Or put in one of your own. Check this direction out. You never know until you try!

I would think that the interest general discussion, will work. If you can't find an interest appropriate for it, you could always start another interest. Now, don't ask me how to do that, as I have never done it, but others have, as all the interests in here are user generated interests. I do try to post in the interest where the topic goes. I just basically respond to other discussions, so I don't have that to worry about. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.
