Ways to get genuine referrals under my link?

I have signed up for many affiliate program i even spent a lot for getting referrals in paid to sign-up sites, got the required sign-ups but not a single one is active today. I have made blogs for to get them and tried different ways like chat rooms and other stuff but could not get anything. Please suggest any way to get genuine referrals.

till now i does not have any referrals to any site to me,neither i have referrals nor i spent money for referrals ,i does not rely on referrals ,and till now i have not entered in any affiliate programmes,let me know more details of affiliate programmes which you are doing,have a nice day

I would say do a blog and keep it updated, if you like check my profile for my blog then see how I do it, I keep it updated and get about 65 to 120 views per day. I plan to add tons more later on, that will really keep people coming, and I hope more referrals. I have gotten one already today.
