Has Anything Changed The Morning Coffee Experience More?

I'm not sure how it is across the country, but in the greater Boston area the offer at McDonald's is $1 for any size of the Newman's coffee. It's good coffee and the price is better than anywhere else for the large size. Since this offer was introduced, I have noticed many convenience stores going to the same $1 for any size offer. I have also noticed that Burger King is now serving Seatle's Best coffee, a big improvement to whatever it was they did serve. However, the large size, what they call medium, is $1.89. I don't recall any one thing affecting the morning coffee experience more.
