The three-peat that Kobe has been longing for will be achieved next season. In order to do that Kobe needs support from his teammates. If that is the case, the Lakers should have a formidable roster to make that ting to happen. But the question is, Could the Lakers stay intact considering that all other teams will make some big changes in their lineup from a list of many big names in the free agency? Lebron, Wade, Bosh, Stoudemire could change places or even have a possibility of being teammates with the same team.

They have a good lineup so I think they should just retain their team. This way the chemistry is still there. And they have Kobe, who is one heck of a player. And he already got his wish on having teammates to rely on. That's what really important right now. But it will definitely be a challenging season for them next season. Good luck to them. And good luck to all other teams. I'm still a Mavs fan by the way.

Mavs are doing great in the regular season but fades away in playoffs. The Mavs needs a player who is keen of being a good player in the playoffs. Back to our topic, the LA Lakers will just make minor changes in their lineup. But they can land one big name of their lineup provided that they will opt out Bynum, Odom, Farmar, Brown in their contract.

the lakers should be intact for the most part. but some changes need to made. hopefully phil jackson will come back even though he mentioned he may take a break from all the basketball, but i have a feeling he'll be back. the only person i think they need to replace is Artest, throughout the playoffs he was a no-show excluding game 7. If the lakers could replace him with another strong defending shooting gaurd and overcome all the injuries they are facing with bynum and kobe, they could easily accomplish the three-pete kobe is longing for.

Injuries could really hinder the Lakers of winning another championship and earning that three-peat in the NBA. The players will be intact but I would like to make an understatement that their head coach Phil Jackson will go to the other team. I would like him to be with Lebron as a coach. But if his heart is to make the Lakers achieve that three peat, Jackson will surely remain in the Lakers.

Since the Lakers are the defending champs yet again for next season, then all the other teams steps it up more when they play against the Lakers. I guess the Lakers starting line-up should stay intact with Kobe, Fisher, Gasol, Artest and Bynum? I really think they should get someone better than Bynum because even though he has improved his game, his injuries are causing the Lakers some games. If they can get a better center or maybe even just a back-up center or forward other than DJ Mbenga and Josh Powell, then the Lakers are good to go to defend their title again for next season.. can't wait.

Nice point, but we will see the changes that could be made form the Laker management this offseason. I think that minor changes could happen but the first 6-8 players of the Lakers will be intact for sure. Andrew Bynum is improving but needs to improve physically in order to help the Lakers with his full abilities. Bynum is always injured in every season but let us see next season. I don't think that Bynum coul be headed for another team. But let us see!
