Apple CEO, steve Jobs announced the released of new iPhone, and it will have better functionality, and longer battery life. With this news heard, a brand - new handset released, would you consider buying it for over a couple of hundred dollars? Or would you shackled yourself to the AT&T contract deal, to get it in a discount price?
For me, it would be too expensive to own one. Plus, you won't just use it for calling and receiving calls only. You must tie it into data plan, with all these data usage cap limitation too. So, what do you think?

how about considering to gift it ? .. just asking. Though i am impressed with the features, I am not impressed with the price-tag ..
i would not mind using it, though, if all expenses are pre-paid and I get this phone as a father's day gift. Shall I forward you my mailing address?

No thanks! I couldn't even to afford a decent phone myself. I would want a iPhone too, but I just don't have that much dough to get one myself yet. Plus, I don't know you right?

I'd wait on buying a new iPhone 4 - in the meantime, if you already have an iPhone 3G or 3GS, you can update to OS4.
Any time there's a new product release with Apple, there's going to be 1) a shortage of supply, and 2) issues with the new phones. Even though it's only been a day, the shortage has already happened, and there have been reported issues with the iPhone 4's antenna array.
Spend some time with your current iPhone, or hold off a couple of months before getting the iPhone4. I've worked with Apple iPhones since the first one came out, and after 4 launches - these have proven themselves true time and time again.
