Out of NINE, three sub species have been wiped out from earth and the remaining 6 are at the verge of extinction!! The three sub species that are wiped out are:
1.Javan Tiger
2.Caspian Tiger
3.Balinese Tiger
Royal Bengal tiger, Indochinese tiger Malayan Tiger, Serbian tiger, South china tiger and Sumatran tiger are left and if we are not smart enoughf to preserve them and they will become extinct and then we can see only in books or at the museum's as stuffed animals. :(

Thank you - emine08.
In India we have WWF and other goverment organizations helping the project "save tiger", the most challenge they are facing is to get the awarness of protecting tiger to the public. (1) villiagers who encroach the forest area and when they see a tiger kill them, (2) others kill tiger for their body parts. I think we have to spread the word "save tiger" to more and more people arround the world.
