Collecting berries in the woods?Strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, mushrooms and other fruits.Like I go into the woods.Like to have a forest?

Yes, I do like to pick berries from time to time, mostly blueberries, but now I live in a country where it is not so common to do so, so I do it a bit less. I used to do it a lot before though! It is a great way to relax and be useful at the same time!

I love blueberries but I do not know of any growing wild near to me. The only place that I can pick them is at a Pick Your Own farm, I use a lot of blueberries both on cereals, in fruit salad and for baking but they are quite expensive here in Britain.

Hi. Annina. Welcome to myLot! I like to collect and pick berries from the woods too. I just don't want to go into the deeper part of the woods to pick berries. I am afraid of coming across a snake. I love berries that are juicy and ripe.

I actually have strawberries, raspberries and pears growing in my garden but I do enjoy going out and picking blackberries from the hedgegrows along the anal where I live, they make lovely jam and blackberry and apple pies !! I would love to pick mushrooms but I am too scared of picking the poisonous ones, I do pick wild garlic though and samphire and sea kale from the sea and coast
