I wanna have one. I know even if I don't have a garden I can still plant vegetables in pots. I think it's cool just picking fresh veggies before cooking them. Although I'm not sure if it's easy to grow. Can you please share how I can start my vegetable gardening? Thanks!

I want to have one but I live in an apartment and we don't have that space for a garden. It would be nice to pick fresh veggies before cooking them. Plus if ever I'll have a vegetable garden, I'd like it to be organic. But I still want one in the near future.

Hi santosmarichris, we have two mini gardens in house compound. My husband and his elder sister take care of the one at the backyard. They plant pumpkin, yam, black bean, etc. I take care of the smaller one on the right side of our front yard. There are two big rambutan trees standing on the left of the yard.
I grow long bean, chili, sweet potato, lady's finger there. I take turn to plant wax and towel gourd as they usually would occupy larger surface of ground. I like to harvest the crops in the evening after watering. They look extremely fresh and lovely with spreading water on them. It's worth to grow sweet potato plants as they are easy to take care of. With sufficient water the plants grow vigorously and we could enjoy the delicious stirred fried baby leaves every now and then.
I like plant two or three long bean in big flower pots. They grow robustly and bear fruitful long beans if the required amount of nutritive fertilizer is added to them and do the watering and weeding regularly. I have the compose made from fallen leaves, weeds, leftovers, rotten vegetables as well as fruit skins and any other organic waste. We always have fresh harvests from our mini gardens
You could start to grow vegetable plants which are easy to take care of. They would grow frondently and bear fruitfully no matter they are planted in flower pots or on the ground as long as they are well taken care of. I hope you would start your project soon and could enjoy eating your own vegetable fresh from the garden at anytime very soon.
Good luck and happy posting

I have a small plot of land behind my house. I planted melons and pumpkins since these are the one plants that seem to be more immune to pests. I kept a few chickens too. I used the chickens' droppings (poo) as a natural fertilizer of sort. In other words, my garden is an organic one. I am still waiting for the melons to ripen up. I can't wait for my first taste...

We do have a vegetable garden in our village house! Though i rarely visit there but it always feels good when you grow some veggies in your garden!
It is quite easy to grow actually, you dont need to put lot of effort to grow a garden.
Do you have place or you want to plant vegetables in pots?

Well, at home back door, we only grow lemons and chilis. And that is it. But, my dad owns a farm that grows, tomatoes, bananas and other stuff.

I don't have a vegetable garden but if I am to decide, i don't want to have one. Probably because i cannot tend those plants due to my hectic schedule. Those plants will eventually die.
