What Is Your Least favorite day of the Week and Why?

I know alot of people are going to say the same thing as me but what is your reasoning behind it. My least favorite day is Monday. It's not because it's the first day back to work after the weekend but because it's the longest work day for me of the week. I'm a manager in fast food, which is enought stress by itself but on Mondays I'm running the shift from 8 in the morning until 7:30 in the evening. I dread going to work on Mondays. Plus that is always the day you can expect someone is going to call in, usually one of my openers which means I not only have to do my job but their's as well. It wasn't always this way but being short on managers we are having to work longer days. Hopefully this won't last forever because before Mondays never really bothered me. What day do you always dread to see coming and why? Time to get out some frustration here guys, remember your boss won't read this!

mine would be friday. i hate fridays! not only is it the first day of my work week, it's also one of the busiest days in the airport. there's also a lot of traffic on the way home on fridays and it is harder to commute because more people are coming home, like the ones who stays on dormitories because it's the weekend for most people. i also hate fridays because, for me, the week's just starting while it's already coming to an end for most people. man, i hate fridays!

I wasn't expecting a friday lol but some people's week does start then. I love fridays, it's the last day of the week for me.

Yeah, I would say Monday, because its the first work day and it's really hard to get up from bed and prepare. Like you, it's also the time when a lot of work is being assigned. I work in a reservations company and a lot of people call on Mondays to make reservations for the week. The people I speak with are usually the secretaries who also dreaded working on Mondays and they sound so irritated and difficult to deal with, which doesn't actually help brighten my day. The mood in the office on Mondays doesn't help as well because almost everyone there feels the same way as I do. It actually became a concern in the office that some of the managers were assigned to come up with something to lessen the stress during Mondays.

Actually, its just a recent project that they are working on, so they are still getting some ideas. However some of the suggestions that I have on board would include, giving out freebies, giving prizes to those who have made the most reservations for that day, and another top suggestion was for employees to wear their casual clothes instead of the usual corporate attire to make them more comfortable and maybe remove the "Monday" feeling. I;ll update you more if I have the finalized plan.. :)

LIke you,Monday is also my least favorite day. After 2 days of waking up at 9am during weekends,I am forced to wake up earlier every Monday. I also do not like the fact that every Monday, I have to live through the day with my seat mate at work. She really irritates me. Imagine, here I am , working as much as I could on a Monday, then there she goes, applying lotion, chatting on her cellphone and going around the office chatting with other. She's not even the boss, for goodness sake. I really hate it. She really irritates me.

As far as days of the week go, my least favorite probably is Thursday. I t has been a long week already. The weekend is around the corner, but not here yet.

My least favorite day of the week is Monday. There are a lot of people who dont like Mondays and there are also a lot who like them. I am one of the many people who dont like Mondays cause Monday is the first day of the week and that means means start of the 5 days work again. whew!

My least favorite day is Wednesday. I use Wednesday as errand and clean house day to get ready for plans for weekend or pay bills, etc. I have plans for Monday and Tuesday so catching up on needed chores for me is always boring and a challenge to accomplish. Thursday gets ready for end of week and on to Friday.

Yes my least favorite day used to be Monday too but now it is Sunday. When it's Monday than you can look forward knowing that it is already here and that the worst or best has already happened. But when it's Sunday you have to think wow I have to go to work tomorrow or school and that affects your whole day.

I would have to go with probably the majority on this and say Monday's are my least favourite day due to the fact that work starts all over again and it is the longest period until I can spend the day with my whole family again at the weekend.

Hi kittenclaus. Well like you, Monday is also my least favorite day of the week. Primarily it's the first working day of the week and the day after a very relaxing holiday. And because of that, I have to wait for many days again to have another holiday. During this day, I have no time to go outside and enjoy things with my family or friends. So I guess we almost have the same reasons why we both chose Monday as our least favorite day of the week.

I hate Monday the most, because it signals I have to start working and will have overtime again.. This is the first day of work and there's a lot of emails to take care of.. This is also the day I get surprised of urgent matters like complaints from a client and task that was not done that needs to be take cared of right away... I hate this day because I dont get the chance to rest because of the pile of work that needs to be accomplished... I hate it because I don't have enough rest yet but I have to log in and work work work...

Like most people here, I also hate Mondays because that's the start of the week and there are tons of work assigned that day. Monday mornings are also full of traffic and hurrying pedestrians left and right and you'll be late if you don't get up early. Aside from that, I hate Mondays because I always feel that I don't get enough rest during the weekends. :)

haha this is interesting.. mine too is monday.. i dislike it couz it 'made' my sunday 'unenjoyable'.. well second, to come back to work and everyday usual stuffs after a break when your mind is still on what happen the previous day all the good enjoyable freedoms you've had, and it all ends on monday.. its like the feeling of.. HOLD ON.. i haven't finish enjoying my teenage life yet.. there are still lots i have yet to do.. please slow down the time, i don want to get into adulthood as yet.. well when you're at the border of your teen and adult life i suppose.. when your strive for enjoyment and seriousness for real life issues are counteracting each other.. just making it hilarious while sensible here..
