So recently, there was a kidnapping here and it was in the news. But it wasn't a child who was kidnapped but a tiger and two camels from a circus. It ha already been a few days now but they still didn't find it. Do you still feel sad about it although it's not a child? I somehow feel bad for those animals. Who knows what they will do to these animals? Maybe they dumb them somewherwe and leave them in theire cages. Or could they remove the skin to make a coat? I know that some people are more worried about humans safety in case the animals in case the animals are free. If that's the case, they will have to shoot the tiger down.

Awww, that's so sad. More than likely they will kill that beautiful Tiger for its fur, disgusting. I can't imagine where they would even hide such huge animals. And I also can't imagine why no one saw them do this. I hope they do find them safe and sound, although I don't like animals cooped up in cages like the circus keeps them. That's also wrong.

I am also against circus that includes animal for entertainment. Humans should simply leave them in their own natural habitat. I feel sad when I imagine people remove the skin. It can't cry, it can't scream. But it should be painful to the animal. I hope the thieves will be found and put into jail. The animals were taken when everyone was sleeping. They attatched the cages to the car i guess.

Yes, I hope they're found and put in jail for a long, long time.
Even if everyone was sleeping, wouldn't you think someone would have woke up from some noise? Isn't that strange? Maybe it was an inside job, in other words, maybe someone from the circus was involved with this plot.
Hope they all get caught!

uh...they don't skin them alive. They kill them first before skinning them.

I believe all creatures should be left in their natural habitat, which is why I do not patronize zoos or circuses. Be that as it may, I am also a great believer in using animals for whatever they naturally should be used for, including skinning them for their fur/leather. I have Mohawk blood and my native ancestors believed in not wasting anything. when an animal was killed, the meat was eaten, the bones were used for tools and jewelry and the hides were used for clothing and shelter. Even the entrails had a use. Nothing was wasted.
Since human beings are at the top of the food chain, they are given dominion over the animals and it is a stewardship which we must take seriously or we will destroy our world. That said, since humans are the top of the food chain, it is natural for them to consider humans of greater worth than animals. I may be upset over something bad happening to an animal but I will feel worse if it is a human being. Animals are here to be used, and I don't limit that use to killing them for food, etc. Some of them keep the balance in Nature for us and others are just beautiful. The existence of beauty is also something of worth in our world and is a use for some animals. I'm not averse to having a fur coat and don't take offense over someone wearing a fur. I do get upset over poachers who take endangered species and hunters who just go for the furs and throw the carcasses out. It's all a matter of waste. We should not waste our resources.
As for this kidnapping...are they demanding a ransom or have the animals just been stolen? How much do we know about the whole story?

here is the article about this situation: http://www.torontosun.com/news/torontoandgta/2010/06/18/14442311.html
I agree about things you said. Not only your culture practice this but i believe it is practiced internationally. We use the milk, meat, bones for making soup, and its skin to make leather. We also do the same thing with pigs and some of its organs are even used for human transplants. But if they kill this tiger, I don't think they will eat the body. Most probably it will go to waste. So there are chances that the poor animal will be killed unecessarily. But i just made an assumption of what might happened. We still have no whereabouts about the animals.
Back to our subject, the thieves didn't ask anything in return. So I don'T know what thy are planning to do with the camels. The owners will give 20 000$ for anyone who find them. this morning, they added a new reward of 2000$ if they have any information regarding this.
