I love reading. reading is my favorite past time. I enjoy reading online and offline. I enjoy reading blogs, web pages and e-books when I go online. Offline, I enjoy reading different kinds of books. I got my poor vision mainly because Of my love for reading. Whenever I am reading a book, or a blog online, I can't stop reading unless I am done with the whole stor or article. Both sources of reading material, online and offline, are also convenient for me.

I'm so sorry about your poor vision because of reading, but reading is seriously so amazing and I can understand your dedication.

I often read on my computer, but not online. I download the books. I used to read on screen directly, but nowadays I usually copy the downloaded books to my MP4 or mobile to read. But compared with above, I prefer reading paper books much better, but it's too expensive to buy all the books I read.

lately i find myself reading again. i kind of lost the habit because i dont feel like it. i read online and offline. i usually download ebooks and i have several now, which i haven't started reading yet. now that i have some free time, i might read at least one of them. I dont mind reading the hardbound / softbound books or ebooks, as long as i have something to read. blogs attract me because they are concise and trivial. i love reading trivias. hope i can keep the momentum and get the reading habit back. :)

Though I like reading books online, the screen glare makes it a horrible experience.

I don't mind reading online, but I can't really do it for long periods at a time. I really do prefer reading an actual book. I much prefer reading paperback books and that sort of thing. But that's just my preference.

Well as far as liking is concerned, certainly reading from a book is far more convenient. You can read it in whatever way you like. Also it is like more natural sort of way so i think everybody prefers reading from a book rather then reading online.Although sometimes when i don't have some book and i have to buy that particular from a store before reading,in that case i choose reading online as a far better choice as i don't have to pay for that. Also reading on laptops and other devices is very popular these days because they are also portable and searching word meanings and stuff is also easier while working on a laptop. So using for reading isn't a bad choice either.

If I'm researching for an article I'm writing, I'll read what I want online, but if I want to read a book or a play, I'd rather read it in the conventional way. I can't immerse myself in the story if I'm having to scroll down the page all the while, and I find reading big chunks of text online hurts my eyes.

yeah.. i read articles online... but i would still want it in a book... short articles are fine to read just online... but still reading a book is better for me.. i might damage my eyes if i read long in infront of the computer... i tend to become near sighted when infront of a computer...

Reading real books which bought in bookstore have many advantages. The way of reading is healthy to body, you can read it in any time.Reading books online, you should download or look them online, you should have internet.Another, more often before computer is harmful to health.

I read blogs and some magazines that I don't really love online, but I still read a lot of books and my favorite books offline. Reading books is a habit I have had for years, so it is very hard to give it up. I have been considering getting a Kindle though, but so far, I have not done it. We will see if I feel ready for it in the future!

Yeah I would also prefer reading a book than reading online, and it makes my eyes watery if I stare at the computer for too long and trying to read the words.....

Hi, No. I don't like reading online. I download the stuffs and then read it afterwards. I have grown this habit since I used dialup connection. In dialup connection, the speed is very low and you have to pay on the time of usage. So I had to save the web pages and download books to my system. I've downloaded more books in dial up than I've with my broadband. Now that I use broadband, I can surely read things online. But the old habit still compels me to download and then read offline. Thanks. God bless you

Yes definitely. I am online a lot so it makes sense for me to read ebooks and stuff off the internet. If I come across some things I don't know, like names of people, events, or concepts, I can check it up immediately.
