I am interested to know about other people's wishes for their tombstone.Many people believe that world must remember their achievements,even after the death.Some people want that world must know about their character, the way they live life.It was very interesting to read the last message people left for others to read.After they could not speak otherwise to them.I am a Hindu,I get cremated, so no tombstone, no epitaph.

i wouldn't want a tombstone either, i think giving ur remains to your loved ones so they can cherish what you stood for will be a much better idea because they will have it in their house were it can remind them of you everyday not every year, and i would love for my loved ones to remember me as great because that is what i hope to be

This is such a morbid discussion but anyway I still feel reacting to it. On my tombstone will be this statement: "I have lived my life to the fullest for I know I can only be here but once and shall not pass this way again."

If you have one, that is. And if you have one, would that help you? I love to 'live' in the hearts of people I touch if I ever do touch. Just like some wonderful people I've known who have touched my heart in many ways. They live beyond their graves.

if i ever had one...maybe it'd be:
"Here lies Mario..just his body, his famous yellow butt has it's own place"
i would like to make people laugh even after i'm gone

"Under the wide and starry sky,
Dig the grave and let me lie;
Glad did I live and gladly I die,
and I laid me down with a will..."
