Mayweather Demands for a 60-40 Split of the Purse

I read an article in a newspaper stating that the camp of Mayweather is demanding of a 60-40 split of the purse with Manny Pacquiao. From this demand, I assume that the fight between Pacquiao and Mayweather will not take place. Mayweather is too demanding. It is about time that the camp of Pacquiao will look for another fighter. Mayweather will not fight him. And as a boxing fan, I am disappointed of the demands of Mayweather. Justice should be served on Manny Pacquiao.

Yes, Mayweather is afraid of Pacquiao.He is not interested to fight the pound-for-pound king. If he wants to be the best then fight the best.

he's ducking and will demand everything to make it look like manny's fault just like the first time they set a deal.

Simply put, the Mayweathers do not want to do anything with Pacman. Floyd is too scared of the thought of staining his perfect record, the only thing that reassures him of his claim as the best. Accusing without evidence while abusing, ridiculing, and belittling someones achievements is simply low, but what can you expect from someone who has been avoiding the top fighters for almost a whole decade? He only accepts fights when the odds are all favoring him.
As far as I know, they are open to a rematch win Cotto at 154lbs for an unprecedented 8th world title. This is the next best fight for Pacquiao right now in my opinion. Better than a trilogy fight with Marquez (which is also good) or a fight with Margarito (I wouldn't want this fight to happen, I don't see it as an entertaining fight).

I want to see Pacquiao fights Cotto again. This promises to be a good rematch in the making but this is in the superwelterweight division. But I think that 154 pounds is too much for Pacquiao. Looking for the 8th world title could be hard for him but let us see what happens. Fighting Mayweather is a very great matchup, that is, if Mayweather will hands down his demands.

Mayweather is just boasting around but He cant take Manny Pacquiao, that is the reason why he is doing all of this stuffs.He just wants attention but he won't fight.If he love his craft and just up to see who is more tougher between him and PAcquiao, then he'll agree with 50-50.But no, he just wants to make sure, that even if he loses, He'll bring the bigger bucks. SUch a loser. He brings up issue that is irrelevant and really s****d..He's a box without anything in it

Pacquiao is fighting for what the boxing fans need. This is pure entertainment from Manny. This goes to show that Pacquiao is the icon of the boxing world. His attitude towards the game introduces what boxing is. Mayweather is only ducking on Pacquiao. I think he cannot beat Pacquiao. If this fight happens, this will be a boring fight for the reason of Mayweather just waiting for Pacquiao and will make some dirty tactics along the stretch.

If Floyd will insist on this demand then we can now say goodbye to Pacquiao-Mayweather bout. Pacquiao already agreed to a blood test at most 14 days before the fight. I don't think he will give in to 60 - 40 split in favor of Floyd. And I also agree with Pacquiao. Floyd has lots of demand. It never ends. I'm really starting to loose hope in this fight.

This fight will not happen until Mayweather gives in with his demand. What else could he demand if Pacquiao would also with Mayweather's condition. How about blood testing within the fight. lolz
